New York Public Library

In commemoration of the centennial anniversary of the New York Public Library, DiCicco is currently in the process of creating a comprehensive series of renderings of the library's beautifully ornate and classically designed façade. Of the 12 original artworks, a limited edition of 30 intaglio prints will be produced of the series. These prints are individually hand-pressed on copper plates in a quaint Santa Monica workshop which was founded in 1985. John Greco of Josephine Press is one of the few specialty printers remaining in the greater Los Angeles area. This special edition will be printed with a custom mixed, color matched ink emulating the French grey pencil used to create the original artworks. This collection will be signed and numbered by DiCicco.

In an effort to continue raising funds for this project, the originals and intaglio prints are being offered at a special rate to patron subscribers. To get involved in this special project, simply click here.
